Raccolta Porta a Porta in Lingua Inglese
This town has started a door-to-door recycled rubbish collection.
It is important to remember: to respect the time, day and the way the system is organised; to leave refuse sacks in front of, or near, your own front door; not to leave sacks beside the brown, yellow orgreen roadside rubbish bins; to put only organic waste in the brown bins, using the bio-degradable sacks; to put only glass bottles and jars in the green bins; to also use generic throwaway boxes and bags, whether paper or cardboard, for the collection of paper in addition to the appropriate sacks.
At the end of the trial period, a series of checks will be made across the area in order to identify and to fine the non-compliant. With the commitment and participation of everyone we can also improve the quality of the environment. We need civic-mindfulness, respect for the rules and common sense to make this a successful system.
